1

Install from the HighLevel Marketplace

Open the HighLevel App Marketplace inside your agency or sub-account. Search for SiteMaxy SMS Bridge and click Install. You will be redirected to the authorization screen.

2

Approve the requested permissions

HighLevel will show a permissions consent screen listing what the app needs access to. These permissions allow the bridge to receive outbound message events from your sub-account. Click Allow or Authorize to continue. You will be redirected back to SiteMaxy SMS Bridge.

3

Open the Settings page

After authorization you will see a confirmation screen. Click Configure App or navigate to the Settings page directly.

4

Enter your HighLevel Location ID

Paste your sub-account Location ID into the Location ID field. In HighLevel this is found under Settings → Business Info at the sub-account level. It is the identifier that ties your SMS settings to the correct HighLevel account.

5

Enter your SMS API Key

Paste the API key from your Sri Lankan SMS gateway provider. This key is stored encrypted on the server and is never shown again after saving. It is used to authenticate every outbound SMS request. Keep it confidential — do not share it.

Your API key will not be displayed after saving. Save a copy in a secure location.
6

Enter your approved Sender ID

Enter the alphanumeric sender ID approved by your SMS gateway provider (maximum 11 characters). This is what recipients see as the message sender — for example MYBRAND or ALERTS. The sender ID must already be approved by your provider before use.

7

Confirm country code and Flash SMS setting

The default country code is pre-filled as 94 (Sri Lanka). Leave this as-is. Flash SMS delivers directly to the handset screen without saving to the inbox — leave this off unless your use case specifically requires it.

8

Save your settings

Click Save Settings. A green confirmation message will appear. Your API key is saved securely at this point. The settings page will show only whether a key has been saved — not the key itself.

9

Send a test SMS from the Settings page

Scroll down to the Send a Test SMS panel on the Settings page. Enter a Sri Lankan mobile number and a short message, then click Send Test SMS. Accepted formats:

InputSent As
+9477123456794771234567
077123456794771234567
77123456794771234567

Confirm delivery in Message Logs

Open the Logs page, enter your Location ID, and check that the test message appears with a Test badge and a delivered or accepted status. If the message shows as failed, check your API key, sender ID, and phone number format on the Settings page.

11

Enable SiteMaxy SMS Bridge in HighLevel (if required)

In HighLevel, navigate to Settings → Phone Numbers or the Messaging settings for your sub-account. Look for a Custom SMS Provider or Conversation Provider option and select SiteMaxy SMS Bridge. This step may already be handled during app installation — check your HighLevel documentation if unsure.

12

Send a live outbound SMS

Open a contact in HighLevel and use the SMS channel to send a message. Or trigger a Send SMS action in a workflow. The message will be routed through SiteMaxy SMS Bridge using your approved sender ID. Confirm delivery on the Logs page.

✓  You are live. All outbound SMS from this sub-account will now route through SiteMaxy SMS Bridge.
